Supplier description "ROMBA clocks - since 1894"

Cuckoo clocks from the traditional to the innovative
Inventor of third generation cuckoo clocks

The Black Forest clock manufacturer Rombach & Haas is a Black Forest company with a wealth of experience in the production of cuckoo clocks. Founded in 1894 in a former farmhouse, Conny and Ingolf Haas are the fourth generation to run this traditional business and their daughter Selina is ready to embark on the path to becoming the fifth generation in charge.
In addition to familiar items such as carved hunting paraphernalia or chalet cuckoo clocks, the small manufacturer has established an outstanding reputation in the production of shield face clocks. Conny Haas discovered her love for painting when she was a teenager. She first dedicated her evident talent to historic rustic art before moving on to painting shield face clocks. She made a name for herself in the world of cuckoo clocks through the loving restoration of antique clocks and also her shield face clocks with their modern motifs which are amongst the most sought after timepieces from the Black Forest.

The family business took a giant leap forward in 2005 with the invention of the 'third generation cuckoo clock'. The classic design was abandoned as was the idyll of the Black Forest. The lumberjack was swapped for colourful feathers, neon green deer antlers and radical shapes. Variety and a wealth of ideas meet simple elegance and the Black Forest cuckoo clock can now find a home in modern living rooms.

With a combination of revolutionary creativity and the commitment to traditional craft skills and workmanship of the highest quality, Rombach & Haas bridge the gap between art and craft, delighting young and old alike with items from the antique to the colourful.

All the cuckoo clocks in our range were produced in the Black Forest and they have the Black Forest Clock Association certificate of authenticity.

All hand-crafted. All original from the Black Forest.
