Speciality coffee from the Dutra brothers' plantation in Brazil. High-quality coffee has been cultivated there for over 60 years. Social responsibility and sustainability are key concerns at the plantation as well as quality. Pulped natural preparation, slowly and gently roasted, the ripe yellow "Catuai Vermelho" provides everything which you would expect from a harmonious, aromatic and wholesome coffee.

Andrea Jauch, a qualified business economist, discovered her passion for and calling to coffee and roasting during her travels. Once she returned home she was able to make her dream of owning her own roasting house come true. Following a barista course, coffeology training at a special training centre in Mannheim and a nine month extra-occupational course in the study of coffee in the food technology department of the Zurich University for Life Sciences, she opened the Schwarzwild Café and Roasting House in Freiburg in 2011.
The red Italian roasting machine from the sixties is the jewel in the crown at the Schwarzwild Roasting House.
Andrea Jauch roasts the coffee beans, the essence of the fruits of the coffee plant, single-handedly and transforms them into the state every coffee drinker knows: blackish-brown with a powerful aroma.
 
A knowledge of the origin and the working methods of the coffee growers is of huge importance. The Schwarzwild Café and Roasting House acquires the raw beans from specialist importers or directly from the original plantations. She usually has personal contact with the growers which enables her to come by coffee rarities.
